Chesapeake Bay Asthma Ride Bike Tour Salisbury MD
When: June 3-5
Where: Salisbury, MD
What: Featuring FLAT terrain, the 40-, 62.5- (metric century) and 100-mile routes on Saturday pass by beautiful farms and golf courses with a stop at the famous Assateague Island State Park where wild ponies roam free. Sunday's 10, 20 and 40-mile "cool-down" rides offer more of Maryland's rural Eastern Shore scenery with a visit to some of Maryland's most historic landmarks.

Patuxent River Rural Legacy Ride
When: June 11
Who benefits:Maryland's Rural Legacy Program preserves selected rural areas from development. In Prince George's County, this program targets farmland, woods and wetlands along the Patuxent River, preserving wildlife habitats and farms.
What: 24, 46, and 62 mile tours of this beautiful countryside, from Mt Calvert in the north to Eagle Harbor in the south. The terrain is rolling, with some fast flats and fun hills. Two optional shortcuts provide shorter routes of 24 or 46 miles. Mountain bikers may elect the dirt trail variation of the north loop, if weather permits.
