New to Bike Commuting? Plan Your Trip
If you're new to bike commuting and don't know the trails well, consider looking at the Arlington Bike Map to determine where you will meet up with the bicycle commuter caravan. As the caravans are for the trip into the office, if you need route assistance for your trip home, consider meeting up with the caravan leader, coworker, or friend from the caravan from your trip home.
Also, visit BikeArlington's commuting page for info on what to wear for your commute. For shorter trips, work clothes could be fine. For longer trips, consider wearing exercise clothes. If you have any questions on what your route could be or how to prepare, contact BikeArlington at 703.228.0638.
Bike to Work Day is sponsored by Arlington County, Washington Area Bicyclist Association, and Commuter Connections who invite you to try bicycling to work as an alternative to driving. Bike to Work Day is a FREE event and open to all area commuters.
