8th Annual Arlington Fun Ride
Oct 5 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

You won’t want to miss this family-friendly ride on the scenic Arlington Loop. Explore the natural beauty of Arlington, discover how an amazing trail network connects key neighborhoods to one another, and learn local environmental and historical fun facts along the way. We don’t call this a FUN ride for nothing–riders will earn raffle tickets by completing challenges at rest stops throughout the course for entry to win prizes at the finish line festival. We can’t think of a better way to spend a beautiful fall Saturday!

Join us on October 5 for the 8th Annual Arlington Fun Ride!

This scenic, family-friendly bike ride will give you the chance to experience the paved, multi-use trails that make up the “Arlington Loop” while enjoying support from rest stops in Bluemont Park, Ballston, Rosslyn, and Crystal City.

Riders may choose 4-, 8-, 12-, or 16- mile distances. There will also be a shorter 3-4 mile children’s ride, suitable for riders ages 10 and under. Riders will learn fun facts about Arlington nature and history throughout the ride and enjoy games, activities, and some surprises along the way!

All riders will get one raffle ticket for each rest stop they pass through, an additional raffle ticket for crossing the finish line and some extra raffle tickets along the way for completing fun challenges. Raffle prizes will be drawn at the finish line festival at the Arlington Mill Community Center plaza, immediately following the ride (must be present to win).

All rides begin and end at the Arlington Mill Community Center plaza beside Phoenix Bikes (909 S. Dinwiddie St., Arlington, VA 22204). Suggested check-in times and start times will be emailed to participants closer to the event date.

The event is hosted by Phoenix Bikes and EcoAction Arlington, and supported by Arlington County, local businesses, bike advocates and other community partners.
