Arlington Bicycle Advisory Meeting

The May 2019 BAC meeting will take place on Saturday, May 4 at the Lee Highway Alliance, 4620 Lee Highway, Suite 208. A pre-meeting bike ride along Lee Highway will begin at 10 am, followed by the meeting at 11 am.

The Bicycle Advisory Committee will resume its regular meetings open to the public on the first Monday of the month starting in June.

Bike Classes: City Cycling

This is a great class for riders of all skill levels. If you’re an experienced rider, there are skills to learn. If you’re new, we’ll help you master fundamentals. Certified instructors will help you learn to deal with traffic, communicate effectively and master the transition from road to trail and back again. You’ll also work on bike handling maneuvers and ride along the local bike trails or bike lanes on a group ride.

Students should know how to ride a bike, be able to ride for at least 30 minutes, and be comfortable starting and stopping on a bike.

Students are required to bring their own bike and helmet.

Joint Meeting, Pedestrian Advisory Committee and Bicycle Advisory Committee

The Pedestrian Advisory Committee (PAC) and Bicycle Advisory Committee (BAC) advise the County Board and County Manager. Members of the public are invited to join any meeting.

Special joint meetings of the PAC and BAC will be held on July 10, 2019 and October 7, 2019.
