City Cycling Class
Sep 22 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
City Cycling Class @ Quincy Street Parking Deck | Arlington | Virginia | United States

Riding your bike doesn’t have to be stressful. Join us for a morning of skills, confidence, and community building.

We’ll spend some time on a few specific bike handling skills, then go for a short ride and talk about strategies for riding in different road, bike lane, and trail situations. Bring questions!

By the time you head home, you’ll feel more confident, comfortable, and happy on your bike. Plus it’s a blast.

Adult Learn to Ride
Sep 23 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Adult Learn to Ride @ Quincy Street Parking Deck | Arlington | Virginia | United States

This 3-hour class is designed to teach adults how to ride a bike. We start by teaching balance, then each rider proceeds at their own pace through starting/stopping, pedaling, and turning.

Our technique is fun, intuitive, and very successful! But it also will take hard work! Please wear closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothes, and bring along some water, a snack, and weather-appropriate outerwear.

Secrets of Crystal City
Sep 27 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Secrets of Crystal City @ Crystal City Water Park | Arlington | Virginia | United States

Psssst, wanna know a secret? Riding a bike is a great way to get around! Okay, maybe you knew that already, but on our Secrets of Crystal City ride, we’ll open your eyes to a whole new side of one of Arlington’s signature neighborhoods. There’s just one thing about these Secrets…tell everyone to come and ride along with you!

Our community ride series is an inclusive space for riders of all levels to explore the city. We ride together on weekday nights, and each time we tackle different topics that urban riders use to get around the region.

Disaster Relief Trials
Sep 29 @ 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
Disaster Relief Trials @ Thomas Jefferson Community Center - Upper Field | Arlington | Virginia | United States

Imagine an earthquake hitting the DC region. Overpasses crumble, the Potomac River takes out parts of bridges and traffic gridlock renders highways useless. While large motor vehicles struggle, Arlington residents with a bike and a backpack or a cargo bike and some bungees are able to transport food, messages, and supplies.

On September 29, join your friends and neighbors at Arlington’s first Disaster Relief Trial where Arlington’s Office of Emergency Management will simulate a disaster and you can be part of the response.
