Psssst, wanna know a secret? Riding a bike is a great way to get around! Okay, maybe you knew that already. On WABA’s “Sunday Secrets of Crystal City” Community Ride, we’ll open your eyes to a different side of one of Arlington’s signature neighborhoods. There’s just one thing about these “secrets”…tell everyone to come and ride along with you! We’ll explore some of Crystal City’s bike-friendly features and some of the lesser known riding areas. Bring your sense of adventure and your questions!

Halloween can be scary…but riding a bike doesn’t have to be! Come join us for our Arlington Halloween Community Ride as we explore one of Arlington’s signature neighborhoods, visit the most impressively decked out street, and learn a few things along the way. So, don’t be afraid to bring yourself, your bike, your helmet, a sense of adventure, and a fun costume, if you like. WABA’s trained bicycling instructors will provide a fun ride and answer your biking questions, and our friends from Trek & BikeArlington will provide some tasty treats.

Registration is $10 to reserve a spot. If there is room, walk-ups are free.

Let’s get multi-modal! Are you thinking about taking your bike on the Metro? Do you already take your bike on the Metro and want to get some cool riding tips? Just wanna do an interesting bike ride that includes a train ride? Then join WABA for a “Sunday Bike Trainin’ Day” Community Ride. We’ll explore some friendly routes to and from the Metro, take our bikes for a short ride on the train, and learn a few things along the way. Bring your Metro card or easily get a fare card at the station.
