Imagine an earthquake hitting the DC region. Overpasses crumble, the Potomac River takes out parts of bridges and traffic gridlock renders highways useless. While large motor vehicles struggle, Arlington residents with a bike and a backpack or a cargo bike and some bungees are able to transport food, messages, and supplies.
On September 29, join your friends and neighbors at Arlington’s first Disaster Relief Trial where Arlington’s Office of Emergency Management will simulate a disaster and you can be part of the response.
