City Hub logoThe Revolution Cycles City Hub in Crystal City is Arlington’s very first Gold Level Award recipient from the League of American Bicyclists’ national Bicycle Friendly Business program.  While the City Hub offers the standard service tune-ups and bicycle accessories you might find in any local bike shop, the City Hub’s main feature is its fixed-point bicycle sharing and rental program.  With the Mt. Vernon trail just a few short blocks away, it makes it easy for anyone to enjoy a ride without the hassle of owning a bike.

Photo: City Hub interiorThe City Hub has secure, covered bike parking for their employees and plenty of bike parking on street right in front of the shop for visitors. Since opening, the City Hub has had more than 2,500 people on bikes and often makes their fleet available for staff to use for rides/events such as the Washington Area Bicyclists Association’s Learn to Ride classes.

The City Hub has partnered with many local businesses, both in Crystal City and in the DC metro area, to help them establish internal bike share programs as well as to offer access to our program for employees and residents. They are always planning fun rides events to get people on bikes and to educate members of our community about safe and fun ways to enjoy bikes.
