Arlington Bike Culture Forum

Bike Culture Meeting  Bike Culture

A true bicycle friendly community includes a culture where biking is considered, facilitated and promoted at all levels. It is not the result of the work of any one department and requires constant collaboration among many groups and individuals. The Arlington Bike Culture Forum exists to harness the energy, ideas and passion that surrounds bikes as sustainable transportation and spread it throughout the County.

Who: A group of representatives from a broad spectrum of Arlington organizations, departments, businesses and agencies

Why: To foster partnerships and coordination related to improving conditions for cycling in Arlington and nurturing a premier bicycle friendly community.

How: The group meets quarterly to share ideas and coordinate next steps, but more importantly, the representatives convey the philosophies and passions of the forum and it’s Charter back to their respective groups and their everyday work.

Get Involved: This webpage also exists to document activities and allow participation and input to carry over in between meetings. Please feel free to comment down below as your input will be heard. You are welcome to comment on documents found on this webpage, Arlington bike culture as a whole, or anything else that relates. For meeting and RSVP information, please contact info@bikearlington.com.
