This is a mostly "show and tell" class, but will be hands-on as time allows (so you should still bring your own bike and expect to get dirty). They will cover the following topics

  • Tire inflation / selection
  • Cleaning / lubricating the chains
  • Operation of quick release wheels
  • Inspection of the brakes
  • Inspection of bearing surfaces
  • Cable lubrication
  • Minor brake adjustments
  • Minor shifting adjustments
  • Checking critical fasteners
