Activities

Enjoy the practice of organizing a walking school bus through resources offered by Arlington Public Schools’ Safe Routes to School program. Take a bike ride or walk to view Arlington’s best holiday decorations. Also, as a Gold Walk Friendly Community, Arlington offers miles of multi-use trails that make getting around incredibly easy. Whether you try one of WalkArlington’s self-guided Sidewalks, catch Arlington Art presenting four poets laureate’s work projected by artist Robin Bell on four Arlington building facades, each Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. in December, or visit a traffic garden, there are so many free and fun activities in Arlington to keep everyone active and engaged over the holidays, in a physically distant, accessible, and walk/bike friendly way.
