BIKE TAKEAWAY:

Community Rides area a fun and social way to explore Arlington.

It’s spring! And that means there is great biking weather to be had. So, bust out your favorite spring bling and join us for a ride.

Three people on bikes ride along a trail together.

We worked with WABA to create a series of rides that help you explore some of Arlington’s signature neighborhoods in a whole new way—whether you work, live or play there. Just like our other Community Rides, the routes are short and are an inclusive space for riders of all levels to explore the city. Plus, we always end somewhere social so we can hang after the ride.

There are three rides for you to explore this month, so the only question is: Which one will we see you at? Maybe all three?

Art & Artomatic

May 3, 6:30 – 8:00 pm

The region’s largest art exhibition has taken over seven floors of a building in Crystal City – join us as we work up our creative appetites by exploring this urban village’s more curious offerings and bike connections. We’ll end up at Artomatic, to roam and explore, for a full evening of adventure. Bike decorations and costumes encouraged!

Pizza Provocation: Pupatella VS The Italian Store

May 24, 6:30 – 8:00 pm

A classic hometown matchup, join us for a ride from one Arlington institution to the other. It’s basically a tour of Italy, from the comfort of your bike seat, right in Arlington. We’ll take bike lanes, normal traffic lanes and trails as we highlight important neighborhood bike connections.

Taco’bout Some Art: El Chilango VS District Taco

June 14, 6:30 – 8:00 pm

Both Arlington institutions, both started with taco trucks, both in Rosslyn. To work up an appetite for tasty tacos, join us for a delightful loop ride and see some Artful Arlington sights. We’ll conquer moving from road to trail, high five at the top of hills and check out some low stress route options.
