Bike to work day 2026

Our favorite event of the year, Bike to Work Day, is coming up fast on Friday, May 15, 2026. Join BikeArlington as a Bike to Work Day 2026 Pit Stop Partner!

On the morning of May 15th, we’re expecting more than 2,000 riders to pedal their way to one of BikeArlington’s Pit Stops, where they’ll pick up their free T-shirt, mingle with other riders, and— if you choose to join us as a Tabling Partner—connect with you.

This year, BikeArlington will be hosting three morning Pit Stops – in Ballston (Welburn Square), Columbia Pike (Penrose Square), and Rosslyn (Gateway Park) – from 7:00-9:00 a.m.

Different Types of Tabling Partners

We’re inviting three different types of Bike to Work Day Tabling Partners to join us.

Information Tabling (i.e., providing giveaways, resources, and organizational information)

Services Tabling (i.e. providing a free service or interactive activity during the event such as bicycle repair, massage, yoga instruction, etc.) The value of the service or activity cannot exceed $20.

Food Tabling (i.e., providing food and/or drinks – packaged snacks, granola bars, water, juice, etc.). The value of the food and drink cannot exceed $9 per person.

What to Expect as a Tabling Partner

Regardless of tabling type, all Bike to Work Day Pit Stop Partners will receive:

Space at your Pit Stop/s of choice if confirmed by Friday, April 10. (Note the number of tables at each BikeArlington Pit Stop is limited, so be sure to claim your space before all tables are taken. First come, first served!)

The opportunity to connect with hundreds of Bike to Work Day participants from Arlington and around the region.

Complimentary table (8’ x 30”), chair, and tablecloth (if needed) for your space.

As a Pit Stop Partner, the only ask is that you promote Bike to Work Day 2026 registration through your marketing, communication, and social media channels prior to the event (we’ll provide ready-made resources for you to use) and bring your smiling faces and a fun giveaway (or interactive activity) for attendees on May 15th.
