While poking around on the internet looking for photos of historic biking in Arlington for an upcoming documentary (more on that later–get excited!) we stumbled across a YouTube clip of Stage 3 of the 1991 Tour DuPont. Wikipedia informs us that the Tour Dupont was the nation’s premier race of the time and attracted the likes of Tour de France winners Lance Armstrong and Greg LeMond alongside a whole host of other international renown cyclists. Do any of our long time cyclists in the region remember specifics about this race coming through the area?
