Single Slice Spin Recap
Most everyone loves pizza, especially people who ride bikes. So what could be better than combining the two together?

We gathered at Ballston Metro Station with a great group of pizza lovers and bicycle lovers. After introductions, we took off down Fairfax Dr to Highland to our first stop, Goodys Pizza. Goodys is known as a great place to get a jumbo slice of pizza. As a first stop, our group rated this pizza pretty high on their list.
From Goodys we rode a down Clarendon Blvd which is a quick fun downhill ride to our second stop, WiseGuys. This place is known for making delicious slices of NY style pizza. They also have unique pizzas such as Spinach Artichoke and Paneer Tikka.
Now it was time to work off at least a little of the pizza slices! We rode from N. Lynn Street to the Mount Vernon Trail. It was a beautiful and warm but not humid day which is so unusual for DC. So we meandered along the trail enjoying the breeze and the view of DC to our left. Our destination: We, the Pizza in Crystal City.
It was a great location with a plethora of food options and outdoor seating. Some chose to get a slice at We, the Pizza. Others chose ice cream at Stone Cold Creamery. But whatever the choice, it was a great time sitting outside getting to know each other before heading out to enjoy the rest of our weekend.
