BIKE TAKEAWAY:

We're got an awesome event planned!

ActiveFest Happy Bikers

Why, at the Arlington Active Streets Festival, of course. Come out this Saturday, June 11 and enjoy the sunshine by playing in the streets with us! The streets are closed for the Air Force Association Classic, and we’re hosting an array of fun activities for the whole family right in the intersection of Clarendon, Wilson and Washington.

There will be giant games and a bounce house!  There will be a bike petting zoo with strange bikes to try! Delightful crafts to create and two excellent opportunities to power up with some yoga. As well as some great examples of tactical urbanism, including a parklet and a demo of all the bike lane types there are. Oh, and an absurd amount of sidewalk chalk.

It’s going to be a blast and all programs offered are free! Come on down, check out the bike race and enjoy our party in the street.
