Events
BikeArlington is teaming up with the Columbia Pike Wellness Festival to celebrate wellness with a bike ride. The Columbia Pike Wellness Festival will showcase the best of wellness on the Pike – for you that could mean a fitness studio, a spa treatment, or a neighborhood pharmacist. At BikeArlington, we find wellness in moving our bodies and seeing Arlington on two wheels.
Join us on a tour of Columbia Pike’s bike boulevards and the surrounding neighborhoods before returning to the Festival.
What to Know
This 3-4 mile ride is kid-friendly and will be at a social, no-drop pace.
What to Bring
Helmets are required. If you don’t have your own bike, you can grab a shared Capital Bikeshare bike or e-bike right from the station at Centro.
Soak in the sights and sounds of a spring morning with an early riser Bike & Bird Watching ride, led by Matt Felperin, Roving Naturalist for NOVA Parks, and an expert birder. Among other bird species, we hope to see some beautiful warblers who are tropical songbirds making their spring migration.
Schedule
7:50 – 8:05AM – Meet at the Arlington Loop sign on the W&OD Trail at Columbia Pike
8:10AM – Ride begins
10AM – Ride ends back at Arlington Loop Sign
